Riversdale is a beautiful family holiday home, with a cosy wood burner, comfortable bedrooms and a peaceful village location.
The perfect Lake District getaway.. Ground Floor: Living room: Freeview TV, Woodburner Dining room. Kitchen: Electric Range, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher Utility Room: Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer Separate Toilet. First Floor: Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Ensuite: Bath, Cubicle Shower, Toilet Bedroom 2: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet Bedroom 3: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Ensuite: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet Bedroom 4: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet.
Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.

It has been completely re-furbished and modernised in 2019 and is ideal for large families or groups looking for that idyllic getaway.
The property comprises a large living room with a wood burner, formal dining area with ample seating, modern fitted kitchen, a utility room and a downstairs cloakroom.
On the first floor are four comfortable bedrooms, each with their own en-suite facilities for added privacy. Before you even step over the threshold you have to pause for a moment to take in the stunning backdrop of the surrounding fells.
Outside there is a charming garden with seating area.
Riversdale comes with its own parking, so you can leave the car and explore one of the many walks that are available right from your doorstep.
Just a few moments away is the popular village of Grasmere with everything from tea shops to fine dining, and of course the famous ‘Grasmere Ginger Bread’, or if you prefer, stay in and relax round the wood burner in the comfortable living room.
Either way, you will be refreshed and ready for the next day’s adventure. The property has a lovely enclosed garden, perfect for relaxing with a drink as the sun goes down.

We had a wonderful stay at Riversdale. It was more spacious than we were expecting and the outside seating allowed us to enjoy sunny evenings. The bedrooms were comfortable with some beautiful views and the location was perfect- quiet and yet close to shops and pubs. Appreciated the well equipped kitchen and the huge dining table.

There were eight of us plus Frankie the beagle and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite the rain! The house was a great size with plenty of room for all of us and had everything we needed for a week’s stay. In a great location with easy access to walks, shops and restaurants, but also just a minute from the bus stop, we had plenty to keep three generations occupied!

We were a group of 6 adult family members plus one dog, travelling from Scotland, London and Somerset. Riversdale was perfect for us, secure for the dog with more than enough space (& bathrooms!) for us all
