A charming, three-bedroom, character cottage built in the mid 1800s and set over three floors.
Perfectly situated in the seaside village of Shaldon with private parking.. Ground Floor: Dining room: Fridge/Freezer Kitchen: Gas Hob, Microwave, Combi Microwave/Oven/Grill, Fridge, Dishwasher Utility Room: Washing Machine First Floor: Living room: Freeview Smart TV Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Separate Toilet. Second Floor: Bedroom 2: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Bedroom 3: 2 x Double (4ft 6in) Beds Bathroom: Bath, Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet.

No smoking.. The Old Toll House is a modern, cosy, yet spacious holiday cottage set in the heart of the seaside village of Shaldon.
Set over three floors, it sleeps up to eight guests in three bedrooms.
As you enter the property through the front floor, you will find yourself in between the kitchen and dining area.
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with all you could need to rustle up a good meal, and the dining area next door benefits from a large dining table and additional fridge/freezer.
A door from the kitchen leads into the spacious utility room, and another door leads onto the low maintenance and sunny rear courtyard garden.
Upstairs on the first floor is the bright and airy living room, with its Smart TV and plenty of seating.
There is also a separate toilet on this floor as well as a kingsize bedroom.
The second floor is where the family bathroom is, as well as a further two bedrooms; one with a double bed and the other with two double beds, perfect as a children’s room or for individuals happy to share. Being set in Shaldon itself, many properties are very difficult to park at and even manoeuvring through the lanes can be difficult at the best of times.
However, the property is located just one road away from the town and an off-road parking space directly outside is a real added bonus.
This is a great location for those looking to stay in Shaldon and enjoy the fantastic beach and nearby restaursnts or for exploring the nearby town of Teignmouth, the English Riviera (made up of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham) or even to travel slightly further afield to the well known Dartmouth and Salcombe.

We had a lovely stay at The Old Toll House. It was well equipped and is in a great location. Our hosts were great in sorting a parking permit due to the parking space being unavailable. We would have loved some background information on the history of the house - what it was like originally and which road it was a toll house for.

We had a great time at the Toll House. Fantastic location and with parking space made all the difference. The house was clean and the information pack was useful. It was a comfortable house.
Was disappointed there was no welcome pack at all. We are used to finding a bottle of wine or delicious biscuits but there wasn't even a pint of milk. Also a visitors book would be good.
