Die Wohnung ist ebenerdig im modernen Stil erbaut (80 m² / 861 sq.ft.). Sie bietet Platz für bis zu 4 Personen mit zwei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern.
Die Wohnung öffnet sich zu einem kleinen Eingangskorridor, der zur Küche führt, welche über eine Essecke mit einem Tisch für 4 Personen verfügt.
Das erste Schlafzimmer befindet sich links vom Eingang (mit zwei Einzelbetten von 90 cm Breite – die zusammengeschoben werden können) mit begehbarem Kleiderschrank und eigenem Bad mit Dusche.
Wenn man zum Eingangskorridor zurückkehrt und an der Küche vorbeigeht, findet man das zweite Badezimmer, das ebenfalls über eine Dusche verfügt. Am Ende des Korridors befindet sich das zweite Schlafzimmer (mit zwei Einzelbetten von 90 cm Breite – die kombiniert werden können). In beiden Schlafzimmern gibt es einen Flachbildfernseher.
Die Wohnung ist ruhig, da sie auf einen Innenhof blickt.

In this building you will find two apartments. The first one is called "Valentina", which is located on the third floor, without lift - 60 steps to climb, and the second one is called "Giulia", which is located on the fourth floor, without lift - 70 steps to climb. Its central location is excellent as it is just a stone's throw from the Basilica of Santa Croce. From here it is easy to reach the most famous monuments of Florence such as the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi. Furthermore, the Santa Croce area is full of restaurants and typical shops where you can taste and buy Florentine specialties.
The public bus service in Florence is provided by "Ataf".
The nearest bus stop to the house is on Piazza Salvemini about 3 minutes walking distance, and the bus n° is 14 or 23.

The apartment is located on via Fiesolana which forms part of the Santa Croce district on the eastern edge of Florence’s historic city centre. The area takes its name from one of the city’s most remarkable churches. The Santa Croce neighbourhood provides a rare glimpse of “old” Florence with lively markets and tiny leather and artisan workshops, including the flea market (Mercato delle Pulci) at Piazza dei Ciompi. The Mercato St. Ambrogio, the city’s second main food market after the Mercato San Lorenzo, is within close walking distance too.
Furthermore, the area is just a stone’s throw from some of the city’s main cultural attractions such as the Bargello Palace, which houses one of Italy’s most important museums, the Casa Buonarroti, (the former home of Michelangelo), Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, and Ponte Vecchio, as well as the magnificent Santa Croce church and museum.
You will also enjoy the largest selection of boutique shops, bars, and traditional restaurants and pizzerias within the city. Three of the finest and most expensive restaurants, Cibreo, Pinchiorri, and Alle Murate are located nearby. There is also a good choice of mid-priced dining options.
Florence city centre is a ZTL zone which means a “limited traffic zone” and therefore special rules apply to when you can enter this area. This particular apartment is in fact located within the ZTL zone so this means that if you are thinking of coming to Florence by car and wish to drive around and park, then you will need to pay special attention to the road signs, CCTV cameras and access cameras (they will show either a red/green light) in order to avoid receiving fines. Guests who need to travel within the ZTL zone by car to reach their apartment are advised to contact a private garage. Thanks to the private garage you will obtain a temporary access permit. Upon arrival at the garage, guests must specify they need access for the ZTL and the garage will then note the vehicle’s number plate and forward it to the appropriate police headquarters.

We booked 2 apartments - a 3 bed apt and a 2 bed apt. They were on 3rd and 4th floor - no lift in building.
Correspondence with property management was very helpful and efficient, including wattsapp messages on the day for pick up of keys.
All bedrooms were ensuite and very spacious, and were great for our purposes.
Location was approx 10 min stroll from main square, so very suitable.
