Imagine a small bay with merely two houses, a sand beach, incredible sea-views and the fact that nobody can disrupt your perfect holiday feeling. No cars, no loud bars, no shopping - just you and your loved ones with a romantic view to the sea and neighbouring unpopulated islands. This house can fulfil your dreams!
The 100m long sand beach is ideal for kids, and available to guests of the bay only in the morning and evening. During the day people will find their way to the beach via foot (1 km walk from the nearest parking) or boat, as there is no other route to the bay. The water is incredibly clear, full of colours and easy to access on the sand.
The Taverna just above the beach prepares breakfast and dinner exclusively for the guests of the bay. The friendly owners will accomodate to your wishes and preferences, so you can sit back and enjoy, whether in the Taverna or on your terrace. You and your family can sing, dance, laugh as you please as there is nobody around to disturb!
We recommend opting in for full breakfast and dinner service during your stay to avoid the commute and transport of your daily shopping.
The house has been newly refurbished in 2015, is fully air-conditioned, and features a simplistic but modern style. All furniture is new, and all appliances are to the most recent standards.

The house is situated on the east coast of the island of Vis, in the beautiful bay “Zaglav”. Zaglav can be reached only by foot (1km walk from the nearest parking) or boat. There are no cars at all, thus hardly any people! It is famous for its sand beach which is at your disposal 24/7, visitors come and go only during the day. The Ferry from Split goes 3 times a day and docks in the picturesque town of Vis, which is the main town of the island and 10 km away from Zaglav Bay.
The standalone, newly refurbished house is located 30m above the shore, offering incredible views. With just one more house and a Taverna with excellent homemade food and wine in its vicinity, this house is a rare example of peaceful remoteness.

Sehr schönes Haus an einer wunderschönen Bucht. Alles war sauber und die Austattung perfekt. Nur die Matratze des Doppelbetts war etwas weich.

Wir waren im Juli für eine Woche mit zwei Kinder in dem Haus und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Aussicht auf die Bucht ist einmalig und das Haus hat alles was man braucht. Wir haben abends auf der Terasse gegrillt und sind drei mal am Tag schwimmen gegangen. Für die Anreise ist ein Taxiboo...

Great house, awesome terrace with view of the bay. The water in the bay is cristal clear and Vis is very beautifull. The bar at 50m from the hiuse has nice food. The owner of the tavern isn’t very hospitable. Would be nice to have a trash container with the house or a communal one at the bay.
