Isolated fort rehabilitated into a stopover gîte. In the main building on the ground floor: "Lévi" room (2 beds 90X190 with private shower room & toilet), "Goéland" room (bed 160X200), shower room, toilet), "Bieroc" room (2 beds 90X190, shower room, toilet), "Amiot" room (1 bed 140X190, shower room, toilet). Upstairs, an external staircase on each gable to access the "Armeria" room (1 bed 160X200, bathroom, toilet) and the "Dumas Vence" family room (3 beds 90X190, bathroom, toilet and 1 bed 160X200). Towels and sheets provided, beds made on arrival.
Internet access and TV in each room.
Small independent living room (29m²) with kitchenette.
Central heating.
All charges included.
Breakfasts served in a large veranda upstairs (only for breakfasts). Room for 8 people available to guests.
In an annex building, reception room (30 people) as an optional extra (+ cleaning charge) with terrace and professional kitchen. This is a unique and unusual address! Located on the coastal footpath, facing the harbor of Cherbourg and the sea, this last Napoleonic fort in the Cotentin enjoys breathtaking views and certain isolation.
This monument whose interior courtyard is always open to the public guarantees its occupants an incomparable change of scenery.
The rooms with their "marine" decoration are all independent and distributed in the main building.
With its reception room associated with a semi-professional kitchen, the fort can therefore be rented in its entirety.
Possibility of requesting the services of a caterer for the delivery of homemade meals.
David and Laëtitia, the manager couple, bring the place to life with a number of activities.
Above all, they have the good idea of offering a breakfast service in an upstairs veranda offering a panoramic view of the sea, the site and the steep coast, you will have the impression of sailing on the waves!

Lieu idéal pour le repos et le dépaysement. Tout était très bien, le seul bémol concerne le matelas qui est une plaque de mousse de mauvaise qualité dont le dos se souvient les jours suivants. Si ce point négatif était pris en compte, nous serions très élogieux sur le séjour.

tout s est bien passéune suggestion concernant l accès dans le gite : aucune indication claire n a été trouvéNous avons pu etre accompagné par un commercant qui nous a guidé, sans cela très difficile à trouver. Le GPS (le mien) indiquait que le BOURG mais pas le gite.

Lieu magnifique...bon accueil.Et que dire de la verrière pour le petit déjeuner avec vue à 220° sur la mer.Cela rend le petit déjeuner magique... toutefois des produits locaux seraient bienvenus. (Laitages ou fromages).Je recommande le lieu
